Tiffany Engesser, LCSW, ACSW is currently the Director of Social Work Services at Zucker Hillside Hospital. She obtained her Masters of Social Worker from Adelphi University and obtained her Licensed in Clinical Social Work, as well as her Academy of Social Worker Credential. She has dedicated her career to serve the mentally ill and her expertise is in clinical services that span the human development spectrum of care. She specializes in complex clinical cases utilizing various evidenced based treatment modalities to be best serve her patients. She has provided direct patient care in private practice, outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, and inpatient hospital settings. She created and led a pediatric inpatient psychiatric unit providing high quality trauma informed care for children 4- 12 years old, which provided services to over 1,000 children.
Furthermore, she is dedicated to the enrichment of the Social Work profession. She focuses on the enhancement of the field by creating Social Work LMSW and LCSW mentoring and education programs. She serves as an Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University and is a guest continuing education instructor at Fordham University. She founded the Social Work Education Program at Zucker Hillside Hospital. She also is a Member at Large on the NASW- NYC chapter. As the result of her dedication and passion for leadership in Social Work, she is the recipient of the 2015 NASW- NYC Emerging Leader Award.
